Lost on the Midway 8x10" Print
Emily Martin (The Black Apple) does amazing paintings, and we're excited to have a few of them as prints.
This print is from her wonderful show "Lost on the Midway" that was in the Land Gallery in 2010. The series, which depicts an imaginary carnival was inspired by a line from a Tom Waits song, it is a world filled with oddities, eerie-green skies, and gentle loveliness.
Emily says about this print, "This piece is the title piece from the "Lost on the Midway" series. This girl appears to have been left almost entirely alone at the carnival - perhaps there is a big storm coming?"
The print is archival, water-resistant, fade-resistant, and has a beautiful richness. All prints arrive sealed in a cello sleeve.
