This fine, strong evenly-formed paper is made in Kurotani, the oldest continuous papermaking village in Japan where they have been making paper for over 800 years. Sunlight & mountain stream bleached, cooked in soda ash, and dried on stainless steel, Kurotani paper is ideal for hinging, conservation & repair of all kinds, intaglio printmaking, shifu and more.
