These lovely papers are somewhere between a tissue and a text weight. The surface is smooth and feathered. This surface texture is achieved by covering a base of wood pulp with a thin layer of kozo (mulberry) fibre.
They have a delicate quality unique to Japanese paper and come in a wide range of rich colours. For these reasons they are the perfect paper for so many projects.
