Bone Clasps

Bone clasps are a traditional type of closure commonly used for closure of diaries, scrapbooks, jewelry boxes, and journals.

A tie that is attched through the hole on the bone clasp is secured on one side of the object, and a loop of fabric is secured to the other side. Then you slip the bone clasp into the loop to keep your book, box, or bag closed.

Most of these clasps are made from genuine bone, the rounded clasps are made of plastic.

Available for individual purchase or as a set of 5 pieces.
