"Marumado" means circular window and looking at this paper you can see why it was named as such! This handmade paper comes in two variations, one with fibrous, wheat straw centres and one with chiri - the dark bits of kozo bark left over from the paper making process. Both create a stunning and unique paper that would look marvelous displayed in a shoji lantern or hung in a window.
