Don't confuse this quality paper with many others called Sekishu that are not pure kozo. This is the real thing, one of the oldest continuously made papers in Japan. Its slightly greenish tone and wonderful hardy character comes from the inclusion of green bark from the middle layer of the kozo plant. Very strong, resilient and absorbent.
